Fall Creek Mountain Hike 2020

This year we did our annual birthday hike in mid-September 2020.  A very strange and challenging year with Covid, California fires, racial unrest in the country and the presidential election. A rather small group this time.  Stephen and Janelle, Unni and her son Espen, Susan Powell and Susan Mahaffy.  Of course Kate and I plus we brought Charlie along this time with his buddy Yoshi.  Stephen had a bad foot so he stayed at the lake and met up with us there on our way back.  Charlie did great and had no problem negotiating the big rocks.  A bit smokey from the northern California fires but not bad.  The windy conditions helped with that.  It wasn’t the hottest of trips but some went swimming at the end anyway.
