Last Sunday we all went to Nevada City to get some photos of the fall leaves. As it turned out, most trees had just begun changing so we went for a walk along the NID ditch instead. What a nice path it is, winding thru the entire Nevada City area. Charlie got a chance to burn up some of that puppy energy and was good enough to be allowed off his leash for part of the way. Anyway, here is a little video and a couple photos I took of the day.
Quick rundown: Grew up in Lombard, Illinois, went to Arizona State University, worked as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co, then Laventhal and Horwath, then Rolling Stones, then Heron International, then Goodby Berlin and Silverstein in San Francisco. Moved to the foothills in 1990 and traded futures and designed websites. Married to Kate Stewart, now living in Colfax, CA. We have six grandchildren. I enjoy camping in our RV, hiking, kayaking, fishing, droning and cross country skiing Also conga drumming, photography and dogs.

Lovely! Of course, Ben had to be in the water. He & Charlie are so cute together!
Neat video & portfolio of photos of Nevada City. So many colorful trees & your dogs seem to really enjoy the free ranging running next to the creek. It looks like a great place to do an easy hike for the day.
Thanks for great travelogue.
