Loon Lake July 2016 #2

Biggs Point on Loon Lake

Ben and I went up to Loon Lake for three days, the last week in July. A hot week (mid 90s) with lots of bees, gnats, flies and general bugs. Otherwise, it was beautiful. Swimming was great. I fished every day, but only caught one 12 incher. On Tuesday, I took my drone with me while trolling and landed out near Biggs Point and did some drone video. Not really any photos to speak of, but I did take several videos with my camera. Tried some slow motion clips just to see how it worked. I have these incorporated in the video below. Another item of note was the fridge stopped working, although the freezer section worked fine. I am still working on figuring that problem out. If I finally get it fixed I should put up a blog post on the remedy since I couldn’t find any place on the web that describes that particular issue. I just got a GoPro Hero 4 so future videos should be much better. Also, I filmed the drone at 720p, so its not as clear as it normally is shooting at 2.7k.
