Camping at Sugar Pine Reservoir May 2021

After seven months we finally were able to make a camping trip with our motorhome.  This first trip for 2021 was Shirt Tail Creek campground on Sugar Pine Lake.  Also first time for this particular camp ground.  Many years ago we had gone to Giant Gap which is closer to the lake.

We camped with our friends Mike and Vicki, and to our surprise our friend Gary showed up unannounced.  Although the lake was extremely low, especially for spring time, the weather was perfect, no bugs, and the terrain beautiful.

I tried out my new Mavic Mini 2 drone.  I had inadvertently set the exposure compensation to (+) something causing a lot of overexposure.  I also see in retrospect, missed opportunities for more cinematic shots.  I also which I had taken more photos with the drone rather than just videos.  At any rate it was a good practice experience.
