Wrights Beach November 2017

Wrights Beach

The dogs and I managed to get a spot at Wrights Beach this November.  Not a great spot but at least we were there.  Kind of a mud pit from the recent rains.  Normally its difficult to get a spot here usually requiring six months advance booking, so I considered us lucky.  Anyway, site #25 was open and we took it for three nights.  A big storm came in and left on the day we did.  But we had plenty of opportunities to beach comb.  Charlie and Ben loved it, especially Charlie who got to race around on the hard sand and find all kinds of interesting smells.   Both guys got caught unawares in the surf but nothing dangerous.  That beach is known for its rip tides so I kept a close watch on them.  Anyway I took some videos of the dogs playing and the tumultuous ocean which was just fascinating to look at.  A five minute quick little video is below, plus photos following.

  1. Hey Geoff
Fantastic, violent waves, lucky the dogs didn’t get swept into the huge surf & waves.
You really took neat videos that got the violent surf. All of your still photos are very cool.
Thanks for all of your great photography.
