Mendocino Coastline at Fort Bragg, CA

Mendocino Coastline

Kate and I took a brief vacation and went to our favorite place in Ft. Bragg, the Beachcomber Motel.  You can see it in the video below at the end of the trestle bridge.  There is a walkway going from Glass Beach all the way through MacKerricher State Park, and its right outside our doorway.  We took my new DJI Phantom 3 drone with us and I was able to take some great videos while learning how to use it.  It is an amazing piece of technology and so easy to fly.  Hovers in the breeze with no effort on my part.  I took it up 200 feet at one point.  Photos and the drone video I created follow.  I suggest blowing the video up to full screen and make sure its set at 1080p HD using the little gear on the lower right corner.

  1. Hi Geofff,

I didn’t comment like I was supposed to and the comment appears on the bird picture. Maybe you can move it. It was supposed to be a general comment for the entire video.
