Mardi Gras Parade in Nevada City

Mardi Gras parade Nevada City, CA

Every year Nevada City celebrates Joe Cain Day, or more commonly called, Mardi Gras, with a wonderful parade.  This year was especially colorful and full of wonderful music and dancing, combined with a gorgeous day with weather in the 70s.  Here are some pics.

Where is Nevada City? Excellent portfolio of photos. What a colorful , diverse variety of displays in the parade. Has your community ever considered entering a float in the parade? I love all the costumes, chicks, dogs & a variety of neat stuff. Thanks for putting together this neat assembly of the parade.
